The Davidson Wildcats travel to Pittsburgh to take on The Duquesne Dukes in a Atlantic 10 matchup. Davidson is on an absolute roll, winners of 8 straight games and cashed all 8 times ATS. Davidson is tied atop The Atlantic 10 conference with The Dayton Flyers but own the tiebreaker by virtue of a 77-60 blowout win over Dayton January 20th. A win against The Dukes locks up conference title and #1 conference tournament seed. The Wildcats have terrific shooters all over the court and are deadly from beyond the arc. They are tied for 2nd in the nation in 3 point shots made per game with10.6 and knocked down 11 in 26 attempts in Thursday nights 27 point humiliation of VCU. Senior guard Tyler Kalinoski leads the way averaging 16 pts and shooting 41 percent behind the arc. Sophmore guard Jack Gibbs is an equally dangerous sidekick knocking down 3’s at a 43% clip and avg 15.8 a game. After losing 6 straight conference games in January The Dukes have played better of late. Since that skid they have gone 5-4 and played much better offensively led by Derrick Colter and Micah Mason who avg 13 and 12 pts respectively. The Dukes may be playing better on offense but the defense is horrific, ranking 333rd giving up 74 points a game.

Prediction: Davidson will not overlook Duquesne and will play hard trying to win the regular season title and lock up that tournament 1 seed. For The Dukes to have any chance to cover the spread let alone spring the upset they have to play way better on defense and defend the 3. They won’t be able to do it. Davidson is rolling and has the look of a team who can make it to the 2nd weekend of the NCAA tournament. They win by double digits. THE PICK DAVIDSON -7.5

Jesse Schule: Jesse was is on fire going 10-1 last week and hitting 62 percent of his February CBB picks.

Miguel DaSilva: Miguel pumped out 35 picks last week and hit an astounding 24 games for a win percentage of 68.6.

Stephen Nover: He only put out 29 picks in the last month but went 21-8 good for 72% cashes. With that percentage we’ll wait patiently for his picks.
