Well this has to be one of the weirdest #1 vs #8 matchups in NBA Playoff history. It actually started at the end of the NBA Regular Season when Cleveland gave the #1 seed to Boston. The Cavs swept 7 seed Indiana with relative ease and Boston has been in a dogfight with Chicago. After winning the first 2 games of the series in Boston 106-102 and 111-97 (both Chicago ATS wins) the Bulls lost Rajon Rondo to injury then lost the next 2 games at home. The Celtics won game three by 17 and game four by 9. The first 4 games also split on the total, the first 2 in Boston going OVER and the 2 games in Chicago going UNDER.

Fans in Chicago wanted Rondo either off the team or benched with a week left in the season. All of a sudden he went off in the last few games and first 2 payoff games, getting everyone involved and the offense clicking. Without him they are back to clueless on offense. Rondo is hopeful to play game 5 but the consensus is if this were an elimination game he’d go and because it’s not they’ll hold him out til game 6 back in Chicago. We don’t think it matters. The Celtics are back to being the Celtics they were down the stretch. Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg just pissed of Isiah Thomas by basically calling him a cheater which will only make things worse.
