Scott Spreitzer has been in the handicapping business almost 25 years and is well known in the betting community for his success in the Station Casinos Handicapping Championships. He is the all time win leader in that contest and made it to the football finals an amazing 3 times. One of his greatest assets is to not rest on his laurels as a bettor/handicapper and hone his skills to stay ahead of the curve. The linemakers change how they set the numbers all the time so if a handicapper uses the same methods they did 10 years ago then they are behind the times and probably not very good anymore. He had to learn how to incorporate both situational and matchup handicapping into picking games along with how to make his own lines to give him more of an advantage with the changing times. Scott likes to look at every game on the board and making his own lines helps him to compare them with the Vegas lines to find the best value. It seems to be working as you can find him breaking down games with in depth anaylsis on a vast amount of radio shows, podcasts, blogs and newspapers in Vegas and around the country.
