WILD CARD WEEKEND – How many Wild Card teams will win this weekend?

We went back and looked at all the Wild Card games since 2002 (when the league expanded from 6 to 8 divisions) We found that 8 out 14 years at least 2 Wild Card teams won on the opening weekend of the Playoffs. In the first 2 years (2002, 2003) the division winners went 3-1 both years. That means that 8 of the last 12 years at least 2 Wild Card have won.

RTHH Prediction: Over 1.5 +200

WILD CARD WEEKEND – How many Wild Card teams will win this weekend?

Going back to 2002 we found that Wild Card teams only swept the division winners one time, which happened to be last season. Here is a breakdown of Wild Card teams’ records the last 14 years

  • 4-0 1 time
  • 3-1 4 times
  • 2-2 3 times
  • 1-3 4 times
  • 0-4 2 times

RTHH Prediction: 2 +300

WILD CARD WEEKEND – Who will record the most Passing Yards

Winner

RTHH Prediction: Matthew Stafford +500. The conditions in Seattle Saturday night will be great for passing, The Seahawks secondary isn’t nearly as scary with Earl Thomas injured and we have a feeling the Lions are going to be in catch up mode most of the night. Stafford has a lot of yards in a losing effort.

WILD CARD WEEKEND – Who will record the most Receiving Yards

Winner

RTHH Prediction: Antonio Brown +300. We’re taking the favorite in this one. Antonio Brown had a playoffs to forgot last season after Vontaze Burfict knocked him unconscious. This season is going to be different for the best receiver in football. Big Ben won’t care about Brown being double teamed. He never has and won’t start Sunday.

WILD CARD WEEKEND – Who will record the most Rushing Yards?

Winner

RTHH Prediction: Latavius Murray +400. Jack Del Rio has publicly said he doesn’t understand what offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave was doing last week only giving Murray the ball 5 times in that dreadful loss to Denver. He vowed this week will be different especially with Connor Cook starting at QB. Expect Murray to get the ball 25+ times against Houston. That big, mean offensive line will deliver against the Texans.

WILD CARD WEEKEND – Will a Wild Card team win the Super Bowl?

Winner

RTHH Prediction: NO -5000. This is one bet we won’t be making in either direction but if we did bet it we’d take the heavy favorite. Only 6 Wild Card teams have ever won the Super Bowl and none since Green Bay 2010. The only teams playing this weekend we think could win the SB are Pittsburgh and Green Bay. They’re both division winners.

WILD CARD WEEKEND – What will be the biggest point differential in any of the 4 games

Winner
