2021 NFL Playoffs Conference Championships Premium Betting Picks

The Divisional Playoffs last week had a little bit of everything. The three home teams with the best records, the Chiefs, Bills, and Packers all prevailed while the Saints lost their 3rd straight playoff game (all at home) to Tom Brady and the Bucs. It all sets up to be the 2021 NFL Conference Championship matchups that we all want to see. Aaron Rodgers and The Green Bay Packers will host Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC and the Buffalo Bills travel to Kansas City to take on the Kansas City Chiefs In the AFC. But before we look ahead to the conference championships on Sunday, Let’s take a quick look back at the divisional playoffs.

Saturday Divisional Games

The weekend started off with the Packers hosting the Rams is a game pitting the best offense against the best defense in the NFC. The Rams kept it close through the first quarter but in the end, the game turned into a mismatch as Aaron Rodgers and the Packers gained almost 500 yards in a 32-18 win. The Packers covered as a 6.5 point favorite and the total easily went Over the 45 point total.

The Saturday night game was an anticipated matchup between The Baltimore Ravens and the Buffalo Bills. The first half was a defensive struggle As both teams only managed a field goal and high winds. In the third quarter, Stephon Diggs scored on a 3-yard touchdown catch And the bills returned a 101-yard Interception to seal the game. The Bills covered as three-point favorites and the total pushed at 51.

Sunday Divisional Games

Sunday’s first game was an anticipated matchup between the Cleveland Browns and The Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City looked to be in control of the game before quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a concussion and had to leave the game with the chiefs up 22 to 9. In the end, The Chiefs would prevail 22 to 17, Thanks to some great defense and timely playcalling by coach Andy Reid. The Browns covered the 8 point spread And the total went way under 56 points.

The last game of the weekend featured Tom Brady In the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Traveling to New Orleans to take on Drew Brees and the Saints. This game was entertaining with the teams going back and forth, But down the stretch Drew Brees Kept turning the ball over And Tampa Bay kept cashing in. The Bucs would prevail 30-20, winning outright as a 3 point dog. The total went Under 53.5

NFC championship game

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Green Bay Packers

Sunday, January 24, 3:05 PM

Green Bay -3.5 Total 56.5

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to Green Bay to take on Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The Bucs are peaking at the right time, winners of six in a row as Tom Brady looks to do the unthinkable and win his seventh Super Bowl title, this time with Tampa Bay. This game for me all comes down to The Green Bay Packers. The Packers are playing at home in frigid conditions and will have an offense that is used to playing in cold conditions, as they proved in the snow game against Tennessee earlier this season. Tom Brady may be used to playing in the cold weather but the rest of the Bucs are not. Green Bay has the passing game and the running game that will prove to be impossible to stop. Look for Tampa Bay to keep the game close in the first half, but ultimately the Packers will pull away for an easy win in the fourth quarter.

AFC championship game

Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs

Sunday, January 24, 6:40 PM

Kansas City Chiefs -3 Total 53.5

The two best teams in the AFC will clash in the AFC championship game. The defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs have been head and shoulders above the competition for the entire season, finishing with a 14-2 record. On the other hand, The Buffalo Bills had an up-and-down first half of the season but finished strong rattling off eight straight victories to get a chance at Kansas City. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is in the concussion protocol but is expected to start. With Mahomes playing the chiefs are three-point favorites in my opinion. Without Mahomes, the game is a coin flip for me. This total on the other hand, is a little too high for me and both of these defenses are in top form. The weather calls for rain showers in the afternoon and snow showers at night. I look for an intense defensive struggle in the first half enough so that this total will stay under.
