The only thing that did was piss off Snell and lead to a 1-1 series tie. It also led to what I’m betting on will be a pitchers duel Friday night.

Buehler has been electric in the playoffs. In 4 playoff starts against Milwaukee, San Diego and 2 NLCS games vs Atlanta, Buehler went 3-1, pitching 19 innings and only giving up 4 earned for an ERA of 1.89. He hasn’t been the best pitcher in the post season though as Rays starter Charlie Morton has been even better. Morton has started 3 games against the high powered Yankees and Astros twice, going 16 innings, allowing 11 hits, and just 1 earned run while striking out 17.

The Dodgers are under so much pressure to finally bring a title home while the Rays look loose. I’m betting on Buehler and Morton putting up zeros and Buehler blinking first. With both bullpens getting a day off yesterday my money is on the Rays getting a lead in the middle innings that their outstanding bullpen will hold for a 2-1 series lead. The Pick: Take The Rays.
